It is a stemless or very shot-stemmed plant growing to 60-100cm. The leaves are thick and fleshy, green to grey-green. It has also a whitew flecks on their upper and lower stem surfaces. The margin of the leaf is serrated and has small white teeth. Aloe vera, the fleshy leaves of which yield a juice used as an emollient ingredient of skin lotions and for treating burns.
Aloe Vera Plant
Aloe vera is a succulent plant species of the genus Aloe. An evergreen perennial, it originates from the Arabian Peninsula, but grows wild in tropical, semi-tropical, and arid climates around the world.
Water about every 3 weeks and even more sparingly during the winter.
Place in bright, indirect sunlight or artificial light. Aloe vera to get 2 or 3 hours of sun a day.
This plant will do just fine in normal room temperatures, between 65-85 degrees.
Just be sure to keep it away from hot glass because it’ll burn. No matter where you have it growing, you want your Aloe vera to almost completely dry out before watering it again.
